Pavel Brunclik
He was born on 27 October 1950 in Znojmo. In 1974 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, in 1974-1980 he studied directing and screenwriting at the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU, and at the Department of Photography he completed a year of extraordinary studies. After graduation he worked with ČST on a freelance basis. Since 1981 he has been working as an independent photographer. In 1985-1992 he worked mainly abroad (Austria, Italy) and was mainly engaged in advertising. During this period he created the picture part of several audiovisual programmes: Kielce Palace, Poland, 1985; H. Sienkiewicz Museum, Poland, 1988; Warsaw Castle, Poland, 1988; Machines for the 20th Century, Austria, Czechoslovakia, 1985; and others. In recent years he has been working mainly on his own projects.
