Jan Uldrych
As soon as Jan finished his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 2009, it was obvious that he was one of the leading graduates of the Studio of Classical Painting under prof. Z. Beran. Someone could say that Jan Uldrych is a hyper realist, but the truth is only the fact that he prefers the perfection of detail. He paints figures, tense scenes in non/realistic landscapes. Animals endowed with the level of human intelligence, animals existing alone with humans. In most of his paintings, the intention is not to reflect reality. The author creates unspecified objects that each eye perceives differently. The light that Jan depicts on the canvases is only a means necessary to reveal the "source" theme of the work.
